Preinstall version 2.8.1 - Release notes

Features:

  • Support Windows updates.

    • PreInstall will no longer block certain Windows updates and will be temporarily deactivated during updates.

  • Added a new Launch Script.

    • Added an easy configuration and launch script.

  • Added option to consume a Blancco Drive Eraser configuration xml.

    • This saves the user from having to use the Blancco Configuration Tool for updating the configuration.

  • Added support for non ascii ISO file names.

  • Added help text option.

Fixes:

  • LEE-2769 - Error Code 130015.

    • Added a test to check if diskpart exists and is allowed by the system.

  • LEE-2019 - Fix for restore function not always working.

  • LEE-2442 - Error 100026.

    • Optimization for partition shrinking and count check.
