Problem
When running diagnostics on a Mac system the Wi-Fi tests are automatically skipped.
Cause
Due to changes in the way the Wi-Fi tests are performed by the BEAD agent as of version 5.4.3 of Blancco Eraser for Apple Devices location services now needs to be enabled for the test to function, if it is not then the test will be skipped.
Resolution
Enable Location Services on the Mac system you wish to perform Wi-Fi diagnostic tests on, this can either be when setting up the MacOS if an erasure was performed first or by following the steps below.
Access systems settings by clicking the Apple logo in the top left of the UI and clicking System Settings in the menu shown
Select Privacy & Security from the options on the left
Click Location Services shown on the right-hand side of the window
To enable Location Services, click the slider
Once Location Services have been enabled run the Wi-Fi tests again.
