Highlighted Features:

• PHEN-13115 - Apple ver iOS 26 and New Apple device 17 series launch.

  • The newly launched Apple iOS 26,iPadOS 26 version and new devices will be supported.

• PHEN-13747 - Support Apple watchOS 26.

  • The newly launched Apple watchOS 26 version will be supported. IMEI for Apple Watches running watchOS 26 is available.

• PHEN-13749 - Apple Watch Activation lock check.

  • Activation Lock (FMiP) status for Apple watches will now be available in the reports.

• PHEN-13295 - BMDE shows pass and unlock results while the actual device shows locked.

  • Improved handling of the case when an iPhone is erased first and then iCloud setting is removed. In such a scenario the iphone used to display the last FMiP status before erasure which has been resolved in this release.

• PHEN-13272 - Support USB Wi-Fi adapter ELECOM WDC-433SU2M2BK for Android Express Setup.

  • New drivers have been included to support new USB Wi-Fi adapters.

• PHEN-13256 - Schedule distribution of all FW files from sync server.

  • Distribution of all firmware files to the BMDE client can now be scheduled from the sync server. This feature is available through System Settings under Synchronization services.

• PHEN-12455 - Option to enable automatic synchronization of workflows.

  • An option to enable automatic synchronization of workflows is introduced for ease of usage. This feature is available through System Settings under Synchronization services.

• SD-6888, SD-6889 - Diagnostics for Android Smart watch.

  • Added Compass and Gyroscope tests for Google Wear OS Smartwatches.

• SD-6602 - The user should be able to run the 'Permission Denied' tests from the Diag app’s report page.

Diagnostics Maintenance:

For Apple devices, the diagnostics app ver 4.19 will have the Provisioning Profile expiration date on Aug 26, 2026

Comments

• On BMDE UI device card when Apple device is connected, the iOS version will display the build number too.

• Accessory Tab for wearable processing is now available even if Bandwidth scalability is enabled but requires Wi-Fi configurations to be added to Apple setting

• When paired with a companion iPhone running on iOS 26, Apple watch IMEI is reported now but serial number is not available.

Known issues:

• Running workflows for Apple Watches create double reports in BMDE and when viewing reports in BMDE the erasure result can be found missing. However, when reports are sent and viewed in BMP the erasure result is reported correctly.

• Redmi14C OS:15 device, manually ADB enabled, when performing Aperiodic Random Overwrite, user might have to give ‘Allow restricted apps permission’ to Wipe Admin application to see the Set default SMS app pop up in the erase application.

• Android express setup may not work correctly when using ELECOM Wi-Fi dongle
