Description
With BEAD 5.11.2 and the latest Cambrionix API updates, the groups that manage the DFU-switching behavior on Cambrionix hubs require the API.read permission to function.
Below is guidance for adding the relevant role. This does not affect any new API services that were created after these updates.
Step by step instructions
From https://connect.cambrionix.com/settings/services , find the service that is being used for BEAD's DFU-mode switching. Note the groups that the service uses.
Go to “Groups and Roles” and find the same group: https://connect.cambrionix.com/settings/groups
Find the role group name that the service is using and click “Create & Manage Roles”: https://connect.cambrionix.com/settings/groups/roles
Find the role group and click “Edit.”
Add the API.Read permission from the Permissions → Hub API section.
Click “Save.”
Once the permissions are corrected, we recommend rebooting the environment to make sure the changes are applied.
