Description

Blancco Eraser for Apple Devices (BEAD) integrates with Cambrionix hubs and Cambrionix Connect to enable automatic DFU switching.

This feature requires an active Premium license in Cambrionix Connect.

If you are experiencing issues with the Cambrionix hub, please review the official troubleshooting checklist attached to this KB.

Quick Troubleshooting Steps:

Please confirm the following before contacting support:

  1. Power Issues

  • Hub is powered on and using a Cambrionix-approved power supply

  • Power supply LED is on and cables/socket are working

  1. Ports / Charging

  • Devices show charging when connected

  • Ports are enabled in Cambrionix Connect

  • LED indicators are on (check color/pattern per manual)

  1. Hub Not Detected

  • Correct cable (e.g., Thunderbolt/USB-C) is used

  • No adapters (or removed for testing)

  • Hub is visible in Cambrionix Connect / Device Manager / System Report

  1. Devices Not Recognized

  • Original device cables are used

  • Devices are visible in Cambrionix Connect

  • Firmware, API, and Cambrionix Connect are up to date
